Do you, like me, love a YA fantasy story about a Princess returning to her home Kingdom? With lots of fairytale elements, and some futuristic themes as well? If so, might you be interested in becoming an Arc reader for my upcoming debut novel about a teenage android, raised by humans, with a mission to return to her home Queendom. But not to reunite with her mother, the cruel Queen, but to kill her.
The novel is a dual narrated story, from the perspectives of my android Silver, and Eden, a Tinker boy from the palace she was stolen from, who ends up on his own journey across the seas, when he’s kidnapped by pirates while searching for his own parents. But he and Silver share the same goal: to make their world a fairer place for the humans around them, who have only ever been cast out as rebels or outsiders. In Elysia, if you’re not an android, you’re not worth the time of day. In Eden’s mother’s home Kingdom of Panyria, Elysia’s enemy, everyone is treated fairly, with the same care and respect, so long as they promise to hold themselves to the same standard.
Silver travels underground into the city with her human friends, determined to destroy the cruel Queen who has made the world such a brutal place for those she loves, forcing them into hiding.
Eden learns more about his own family and heritage, while also considering ways to help Silver and her cause from across the seas.

I should be receiving my edits back over the next couple of days, so in around a month’s time, I should be able to send out any Arc copies to any prospective readers. (Dependent on the editing process, of course. This is my first book, so I want to get it right.)
If you’re interested, please drop me a line at aprilbooksandshowers@gmail.com and we can get chatting! I’m also happy to swap Arc copies if there are any other authors planning on doing the same over the next few months.
Release date is still TBC, but I will provide updates soon.
